How do I revoke a share?

How do I revoke a share?

Summary

Revoking a share removes recipient access from that specific share.

Who this is for

  • Owners who no longer want a shared item to remain accessible.

Steps

There are two ways to revoke a share. You can either do it directly on the print or collection by clicking the share button, or by visiting Shared by Me.
  1. Open the shared print or view the collection area.
  2. Find the share you want to stop.
  3. Use the revoke action.
  4. Confirm the revoke if prompted.

What to expect

  • Recipients should no longer be able to access the share once the view updates.

Common questions

The recipient still sees it briefly.

A refresh or state update may still be catching up, but the revoke itself may already have succeeded.
